Customer Service Representative – Business-to-Business
Nott Company is looking for a mechanically inclined Customer Service Representative to join our Urbandale, IA team.
In this position you will play a vital role in the growth of our employee-owned company by providing support to the sales team and customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating regularly with customers via phone and email.
- Creating custom quotes for customer belting and belting configuration needs.
- Verifying with vendor product availability, pricing, and expected ship date.
- Placing orders for customers.
- Maintaining price files and implementing price increases as needed.
- Assisting customers and sales team with trouble shooting, product suggestions and technical information on complex or special product requests.
- Actively monitoring backorders and proactively communicating changes with customers.
- Ability to read blue prints
- Assist customers in selection and configuration of power transmission products
Successful candidates will have:
· High school diploma or GED required, 2-year technical degree desired
· Minimum 3 years of business-to-business customer service experience
· Strong mechanical orientation
· Good computer skills
· Good written and oral communication skills
Work hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Salary range: $24.00 - $30.00 based on experience.
***Pay includes gross hourly wage plus profit payout estimate.
Overtime maybe required to support business needs.
