KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service and process new and existing individual Reservations requests from travel agents and directly from guests, resulting in positive customer experiences.
Demonstrate effort in maximizing revenue opportunities by offering to confirm space, offering stateroom category upgrades, communicate vacation value, provide ship attributes, offer air and land components, along with all available ancillary products.
Adhere to all applicable department attendance, phone adherence and quality performance expectations as outlined in new hire training and through supervisor guidance.
Regular attendance required. Please note that during the first 90 days of employment, requests for schedule accommodations such as time off for a pre-planned vacation, school, etc. cannot be granted. Vacation benefits become effective after 90 days of employment; annual vacation blackout dates January - March.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Call center, sales or related travel industry experience. Working knowledge of a reservations system within a call center environment preferred, but not required. Experience working from home highly desired.

Ability and desire to take initiative in providing a positive and fun atmosphere for customers with a strong focus on the overall customer experience with each and every interaction.
Ability and willingness to follow up with each and every customer as needed in the most efficient manner as possible with correct and accurate information.
Possess a genuine desire to want to help and assist others.
Ability to quickly learn and maintain basic understanding of applicable policies and procedures in order to reserve new and service existing Reservations within Norwegian's Reservations system.
Exhibit positive, pleasant and courteous behavior within the Quality Program expectations, while engaging internal and external customers.
Ability to utilize verbal and written communication skills to communicate with internal customers. This includes sending and responding within Instant Messaging and Microsoft Outlook.
Ability and willingness to adhere to a strict attendance/work schedule policy, including break/lunch adherence, attendance and punctuality.
Within reasonable accommodation, the ability to view and read a PC monitor and training and reference materials, as well as operate a keyboard and PC mouse.
Within reasonable accommodation, the ability to remain seated for an extended period of time, which is to be determined by length of scheduled shift.
Must be tech savvy, possessing the ability to perform basic computer troubleshooting.
