Responsible for effectively marketing, evaluating, recruiting, developing and maintaining a professional relationship with new and existing casino guests to motivate them to sail and play with Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The Casino Cruise Consultant will develop and maintain superior relationships with guests by equal utilization of professionalism and personality.
Remain current on company and departmental knowledge, in order to articulate cruise product features, benefits, pricing and make recommendations to include itineraries, and auxiliary products such as Casinos at Sea products, programs and offerings.
Initiate customer calls, build and maintain relationships with casino customers, recommend modifications to products and services to promote customer retention and ensure the highest level of conversion and guest satisfaction.
Service booked customers by adding additional products to reservation or answering inquiries regarding ship services and offerings.
Work closely with casino marketing to coordinate any Player Development programs, events or activities.
Approve and monitor comp issuance based on player performance.
Effectively manage net gaming worth among your player base.
Maintain high levels of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion in all communication to and about guests.
Act within scope and authority and consistent with Company and Corporate objectives, guidelines, policies and practices.
Ensure optimum performance of the program by recommending and implementing techniques to improve productivity, increase effectiveness and manage costs.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of sales experience required. Cruise sales and / or Casino experience preferred. Oceania Cruises and/or Regent Seven Seas cruise product knowledge a plus.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Must have ability to develop and nurture customer relationships. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to learn and maintain strong working knowledge of Oceania Cruises & Regent Seven Seas products, including the current fleet, ship itineraries, casino products programs and offerings. Must possess initiative, as demonstrated through ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work. Requires analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to conduct basic analysis and make sound business decisions based on findings. Ability to perform basic business math calculations. Ability to perceive quality of work read material and review documents; receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients or colleagues.
May require travel to various locations on business, including international.
