New Advisor Support Associate


The responsibility of the New Advisor Support Associate is to provide new Financial Advisors with administrative support allowing the new Advisor the opportunity to spend more time in front of clients and prospective clients.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Development Support


  • Work one on one with the new Advisors to support the daily habits needed for sales cycle execution
  • Communicate to the Training team on the new Advisors' follow through of system use and best practices
  • Support implementation and adoption of technology, help to hold the new Advisor's accountable to using the programs designed to support them
  • Continue to train  Advisors in the business processes and best practices they learned in their initial company training
  • Collaborate with other support departments to ensure the new Advisor is utilizing all support available to them
  • Run reports as needed


Sales Cycle Support


  • Provide new Advisors with administrative support to allow them to focus on meeting with clients
  • Conduct weekly business meetings with the new Advisors
  • Proactively communicate to new Advisor on status and needed items
  • Manage cases through the underwriting process: pre-check and submit applications, take initiative to follow up on needed items to complete underwriting, coordinate medical exams, communicate with clients, and prepare delivery kit
  • Assist new Advisor with data management: input client data, organize client files in the CRM software, update notes and tasks, update opportunities list
  • Handle basic policy owner service (i.e. address changes, name changes, etc.)
  • Maintain 24 hour turn around on tasks and action items


Qualifications


  • Minnesota Life Accident and Health License, or ability/willingness to sit for exam immediately
    • (Upon successful completion your title will change to Sales Execution Team Associate)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality


This is a fulltime position, located in our Downtown Minneapolis Office.
