Client Services Associate
- Full-Time
The Client Services Associate role provides new Financial Representatives (FRs) with administrative support full-time from our office in St. Cloud to allow the new FR to spend more time in front of current clients and prospective clients. The Client Services Associate is also responsible for helping the FRs to build good habits as they start their career and follow processes that set them up for success. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Development Support
- Work one on one with the new FRs to support the daily habits needed for sales cycle execution
- Communicate to the development team on the new FRs follow through of system use and best practices
- Support implementation and adoption of technology, and help hold the new FRs accountable to using the programs designed to support them
- Continue to train FRs in the business processes and best practices they learned in their initial company training
- Collaborate with other shared-services departments to ensure the new FR is utilizing all supporting resources available to them
- Run and review reports as needed
Sales Cycle Support
- Provide new FRs with administrative support to allow them to focus on meeting with clients
- Conduct weekly business meetings with the new FRs
- Proactively communicate to new FR on status and needed items for their open cases
- Manage cases through the underwriting process: pre-check and submit applications, take initiative to follow up on needed items to complete underwriting, coordinate medical exams, communicate with clients, and prepare delivery kit
- Assist new FR with data management: input client data in CRM software, organize electronic client files, update notes and tasks, update opportunities list
- Process policy owner service requests (i.e., address changes, name changes, etc.)
- Maintain 24 hour turn around on tasks and action items
Office Manager Support:
- Office Manager duties including greeting guests, processing mail, answering phone and handling checks
- Communicate and Coordinate with office vendors
- Support the office through supply ordering
- Be in charge of opening and closing procedures for the office
- Other projects as assigned by our Sales Execution Team Lead
- Owning office event planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minnesota Life Accident and Health License, or ability to sit for exam within first 60 days of employment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism
