About this position:

The Storekeeper directs and supervises warehouse staff to maintain, organize, issue, and deliver supplies for field-related projects. The Storekeeper is also responsible for running daily reports for material purchase determination and for maintaining and controlling inventory. This position also oversees the company truck and deliveries around the state.

About this job:
  • Demonstrates leadership consistent with NorthWestern Energy's code, values, policies, processes and controls
  • Utilizes effective management practices to maintain employee engagement and productivity
  • Effectively manages budget, ensuring proper cost controls
  • Leads special projects as required utilizing effective change and project management techniques
  • Coordinate warehouse and supplies
  • Oversees the company truck and stock transport material deliveries and pickups around the state
  • Perform inventory counting/control
  • Complete required documentation monthly
  • Perform research and purchasing of new equipment
  • Work directly with all departments and supervision to ensure purchase of correct materials
  • Create reports (e.g. cycle counts, safety, budget, housekeeping issues)
  • Complete facility inspections
  • Oversee, report, and present on worksite safety
  • Ensure direct reports are fulfilling safety obligations
  • Work extended hours including evenings and weekends in response to acute service needs
  • Safely perform individual lifts of parts, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to chest level
  • Supervises warehouse staff in Butte

  • Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Degree in business, materials management, or supply chain field is preferred
  • Experience with warehouse or logistics operations preferred
  • Strong working computer skills is required
  • Successful warehouse operations and inventory management experience
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Forklift operation certification (Training Available)
  • Commitment to safe working practices and knowledge of safety policies/procedures
