Position Summary
The Northwest Tri-County IU5 Adult Education Program is seeking part-time Adult Education Instructors to provide individualized basic Language Arts, math, science, and social studies instruction for GED Exam preparation or for entry into career or post-secondary education. An instructor is needed for PM classes at the Warren Hi-Ed. This is a contracted position working approximately 10-12 hours per week.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent foreign credential
Desired Qualifications:
- Current valid PA Instructional Certificate preferred
- Teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of Adult Education and College and Career Readiness Standards
- Experience working with ESL (English as a Second Language) students
