The C.N.A. assists licensed nurses (or their designees) by performing tasks involving patient care, treatment, and maintenance of the nursing unit. AH123 AHSL
- Must be able to cross train and work in different areas of Surgical Services, including the Outpatient surgery Center and Main Campus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of an approved C.N.A training program and certification.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
- Certified as a C.N.A in the State of Washington.
- 1 year patient care experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with staff, physicians, patients and families.
- Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit/department.
- Must be able to handle a fluctuating workload.
- Able to safely maneuver patients and supplies.
- This job requires ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written) with all stakeholders (providers, caregivers, patients, family members) for the effective treatment of patients.
