We are currently seeking a Patient Support Associate for our Niles Primary Care office located in Niles, IL. This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled on a rotating basis which includes weekend hours and 1-2 evening shifts per week.
In this role, you will:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments
- Complete patient registration
- Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
- Check in and check out patients
- Verify insurances
Our ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of related experience is required; previous administrative experience working in a medical office is preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute required
- Insurance knowledge preferred
