Job Description

Northern Dock Systems is the National leader in installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment including overhead doors, loading docks, air curtains, HVLS fans, high speeds doors and more. We are passionate about our products and services and need an energetic full-time Front Desk Receptionist/National Sales Administrator to join our growing team.

This individual will utilize their existing training and skills to engage with customers throughout Canada over the phone, LiveChat and email. This individual will act as the Front Desk Receptionist and will forward incoming calls to appropriate individuals throughout the organization. The right individual will be able to be proactive, be a quick learner and focus on providing insights to customer inquiries. This individual must have a passion for interacting with customers, providing insights, and be able to leverage technology to provide benefits and education to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information by email, phone or LiveChat
  • Providing Customer Service and forwarding Inbound calls to appropriate individuals across Canada
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound/taking inbound calls to and from potential customers
  • Researching and qualifying new leads as required
  • Actively update contact details and company information when needed
  • Manage, maintain, and update customer account records for current customers and energy program participants
  • Providing product information using in-house automated processes
  • Learn to understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Following up on warm/hot leads to secure new accounts or engage on win back marketing campaigns
  • Maintaining database (Dynamics CRM) of prospective client information

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Contacting customers regarding existing service and preventative service estimates
  • Initiate quotes for superior products and services offered by Northern Dock Systems
  • Continuous education of product and service information and industry trends
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
  • Staying informed about competing products and services
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
  • Some administrative duties may be required

 

Position: Front Desk Receptionist/National Sales Administrator

Reports to: National Account Manager

Works with: Sales, Service and Marketing Teams

Location: Mississauga, On

Hours of work: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Skills and Knowledge Qualifications

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Must be PC literate with knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Language: Advanced English skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organization, analytical, planning, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional prioritization skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset.
  • Call Centre experience would be an asset.
