Overview:

We are looking to fulfill our need for an AutoCAD Drafter at our Teterboro facility. This person will be responsible for assisting in the creation and/or revisions to shop drawings as well as other technical drawings as assigned and keeping all drawings up to date and organized. The AutoCAD Drafter must possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills while being results-driven with exceptional computer skills.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Accountable for generating drawings according to the requirements provided by the senior designer and/or client
• Must be able to create both two and three-dimensional drawings
• Responsible for incorporating changes or modifications according to the suggestions of the senior designer and/or client
• Must possess the ability to generate computer based drawings using AutoCAD
• Responsible for all 3D Printing
• Ensure timely completion of all allocated projects
• Provide clear communications in regard to the status of each project
• Liaison between the design team and engineers to gain insight into the project
• Responsible for the creation of a detailed visual representation to be used for approvals
• Maintain CAD drawing library

Skills:

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 3+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter
• Must be an AutoCAD 2D & 3D expert
• A familiarity with SketchUp, Fusion and 3D printing a plus
• Fluent in MS Office
• Must have an understanding of architectural and shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, displaying strong written and oral communications
