Controller

Northeast Ohio Manufacturer is seeking a Controller. The position will report directly to the business owner. The Company is located on the east side of Cleveland.

Pay for this position starts at $105,000/year.

The company is one of the leading production centers in Northeast Ohio with the capability of manufacturing precision components and assembling using CNC turning, milling, multi-axis mill turning and other processes. We meet the needs of our worldwide customers and the demands of the ever-changing manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Financial strategy, planning and oversight
• Financial and managerial accounting and reporting
• Human resource management and benefit administration
• Treasury management
• Operational involvement and influence on business metrics
• Daily involvement in quoting, invoicing, procurement, payables and HR management
• Identify, design and lead company revenue and cost initiatives
• Customer, vendor and other third-party relationships including IT, banking and consultants
• Risk management and internal controls
• Governmental compliance and tax
• Oversight of common control entities
• Management of accounting and administrative staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Current CFO or 7+ years as a full-charge controller
• Manufacturing experience is a must
• Must be capable of working from ahead not from behind
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge or experience with Quickbooks and ability to learn other ERP software systems
