Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types labels for bottles.
- Assists Staff Pharmacists to prepare and dispense medication.
- Receives and stores incoming supplies.
- Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
- Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to customer, computes charges, and enters data in computer.
- Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods.
- Interacts with other medical professionals to fulfill clinic stocking needs.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) licensure
- CPT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) licensure
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
RATE OF PAY
$16.20/HR with certification plus depending on experience.
