Essential Job Duties:
The BioInterface Lab (biointerface.ece.ncsu.edu) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in collaboration with the BioPep Lab (biopep.wordpress.ncsu.edu). The postdoc will be involved in developing Process Analytical Technologies for biomanufacturing. Sensors and Microsystems will be designed, fabricated, and validated for for efforts focusing on the next generation of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Review scientific literature on biosensors, microfluidics, and in situ process monitoring.
+ Develop microfluidics systems for various sensor systems, including system integration, electrical design and more
+ Conduct research on advanced applications of microfluidics and biosensors
+ Work with other members of the lab and of other labs to conduct collaborative scientific research
+ Write and publish scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and submit abstracts to conferences each year
+ Contribute to day-to-day workings of the research lab
+ Mentor under-graduate\graduate research assistance
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., M.D., D.V.M., Sc.D.) in appropriate field awarded no more than five (5) years from initial date of postdoctoral appointment.

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred experience in Biomedical Engineering
