**ENTRY LEVEL POSITION**

Description:

As a Medical Office Billing Assistant in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will be responsible forreviewing medical procedures as documented by physicians. Medical Office Billing Assistants arethe professionals who translate medical procedures into codes that can be translated by payers,other medical coders, and various medical facilities. Medical Office Billing Assistants handle patientbilling, coordinate insurance reimbursement of care providers, and transmit coded patient treatmentinformation to payers and other recipients.

Responsibilities:

Review medical procedures as documented by physicians. Translate medical procedures into codes that can be translated by payers, other medical coders, and various medical facilities. Transmit coded patient treatment information to payers and other recipients. Coordinate insurance reimbursement of care providers. Handle patient billing.
