Requirements
  1. BS in Healthcare, Business, or related field.
  2. 5 years of business analysis exp, 4 years within healthcare, MSO, managed care field
  3. Advanced excel, beginner in SQL (REQUIRED)
  4. EPIC and EZ CAP experience (preferred)
  5. Risk adjustment experience (preferred)
  6. Analyze data and draw business conclusion/solutions, present finding with supervisor/leadership.
  7. Claims processing, customer relations management experience preferred.
  8. Must be Covid vaccinated.
Schedule: Hybrid, onsite requirement is 2-3 times per week

Salary: $95k-$110k

Overview
Sr. Healthcare Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst leads and evaluates analysis to produce business solutions. The Senior Business Analyst evaluates, analyzes and recommends optimal business solutions and leads other Business Analysts. This position will develop and manage project-based deliverables that include process mapping, gathering business requirements, gathering and reporting operational metrics, project financial and operational analysis/reporting. He/she will also support peers and management to interpret performance data and develop recommendations for to improve business operations. The individual will work as part of a team supporting enterprise business software applications and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, statistics, organizational management, or related field required.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination activities and designing end-to-end business processes in an outpatient clinic setting and/or enterprise support department.
  3. Understanding of process improvement methodology (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM) preferred
Responsibilities
  1. Strategize with business units to identify optimal solutions, while leveraging existing enterprise platforms and relevant prior work for best value
  2. Conduct analysis of business processes: current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification
  3. Facilitate business unit understanding of technical capabilities of enterprise applications through discussions and by conducting or coordinating demonstrations.
  4. Interface with internal customers to formulate and define scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements; consider business application of technology to both current and future business environment.
  5. Conduct research and synthesize information to substantiate recommendations.
  6. Communicate with management, personnel and vendors to coordinate activities and programs; resolve issues and conflicts and exchange information; respond to various requests for information from internal/external sources.
  7. Develop detailed application, product, and/or tool selection evaluation criteria based on identified product requirements.
  8. Engage vendor partners to assist in complex solutions where appropriate.
  9. Examine best practices and monitor industry trends in various fields to accomplish business objectives.
  10. Recommend and provide guidance on departmental process improvements.
  11. Create and disseminate periodic guidance on security and information to optimize application usage.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
