Four Cardiac Cath Lab procedure rooms, nine Cardiologist with seven being interventionalist. Current hours of operation are 0630 to 1900, with on-call team during evening, nights and weekends. Located at the Healthplex campus on the second floor.

Works as part of a team to perform in both the scrub and monitoring positions: Heart catherization diagnostic exams and interventions, Peripheral diagnostic exams and interventions, Cardiac rhythm management implants, Electrophysiology exams and interventions, Structural heart diagnostic exams and interventions. Assists as need in the pre/post area. 30 min response time for all on-call requirements.
Assist with a variety of highly specialized procedures for Cath Lab patients. Assists with preparation of the Patient including maintaining sterile environment during procedures. Assists in the post procedural care of the patient to
ensure optimal outcome and patient satisfaction thru discharge.
Must have ARRT certification. BLS required and ACLS required within one year. Previous Cath Lab experience is highly preferred but not required.
Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered or registry eligible, must complete ARRT registry within One year of employment and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV)or (CI)and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
