Job Description

Quality Engineer - Med Device Manufacturing

Skills/Experience:

  • Quality engineering experience in med device or aerospace manufacturing required
  • Must have understanding of manufacturing processes and material processing specifications
  • Must have strong understanding of SPC, FMEA, DOE, inspection methods and equipment
  • Must have experience preparing, coordinating and executing validation activities including: IQ, OQ, PQ, SRS and MSV
  • Experience with QSRs, DHRs and final product release preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485 and FDA QSR
  • Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering or related field required
  • ASQ, CQT, CQA and/or CQE certification is a plus
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Must have strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Must be hands-on, able to manage multiple projects successfully
  • Must be highly organized and have demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel
