Manufacturing Process Engineer - Automation

Responsible for leading, developing & implementing automated manufacturing systems.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, biomedical or equivalent).  Prior engineering experience in a production manufacturing environment required.  Automation experience preferred.   Working knowledge and understanding of PLC's, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems, electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and robotics required.  Must possess strong analytical, project management, time management and problem-solving skills. Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects to successful completion. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to technical problems with minimum supervision will be key to success. Must be able to work independently and on cross-functional teams. May be required to interact with customers and vendors and must have ability to represent the company professionally. Must be able to communicate technically with non-technical staff. Must be innovative and possess strong initiative and work ethic. Experienced in MS Office, AutoCAD, SPC and related engineering tools.
