Norfolk Medical is seeking a full-time Veterinary Sales Manger who will be responsible for achieving world wide sales goals. The Sales Manager will foster client relationships and help expand the company's presence in new and existing veterinary markets.
Responsibilities: Achieve and surpass annual sales targets, by prospecting for new clients and business. Develops strategies to grow market share in core business lines. Develops and implement a comprehensive business plan that includes strategies and tactics aimed at achieving quarterly sales goals. Know the customer base, contracts, distribution models, market dynamics and healthcare trends. Knows the strengths and weaknesses of competing products and solutions in the market and how to position Norfolk Medical offerings against them. Develop KPIs and procedures to achieve objectives aligned with company's strategic plan. Research market trends, recommend, and implement best practice solutions. Conduct accurate and detailed sales forecasts on monthly, quarterly, and annual bass to share with management. Prepare presentations, plans, and reports for distributors. Plan, prospect, prioritize, monitor, and forecast sales opportunities on a systemic basis. Lead effective business discussions with economic buyers and high-level contacts in the account. Coordinate meetings between potential clients and industry experts to establish the company's expertise in the industry. Identify possible conferences and assesses value of company participation as exhibitor/vendor. Represents the company at conferences, vendor and industry events for purposes of education and networking. Maintain a high level of technical and commercial competence on relevant products, technologies, and services. Utilize a consultative process and value based selling technique to address specific customer needs. Develops and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Approach each customer with a total account management perspective, leveraging resources appropriately, and accurately articulating the value proposition for the customer. Manager customer communications related to backorders, allocations, pricing, contracts etc.. Secures renewal orders with existing customers. Provide plans and feedback to assist in business development. Wears many hats collaborates with Product Development, Technical Service, and Customer Service.
