Opportunity for an ambitious leader to immediately take a leadership role on evening production crew. The supervisor will be entirely responsible for managing employees in a variety of roles while meeting production targets. The Evening Production Supervisor will work directly with the Day Production Supervisor as well as the CEO of the business in setting goals and improving processes. This is a hands-on role and will require experience and familiarity working in a manufacturing environment.
The Supervisor is responsible for supervising safe operation and intermittent troubleshooting of various machinery including automatic bagging machines, palletizers, forklifts, front loaders, and grinders.
The Supervisor serves as the primary resource and leader for maintaining a safe work environment while striving to meet production targets.
The supervisor is responsible for maintaining compliance across a variety of regulatory guidelines (OSHA, FIRE, DEQ etc.)
The Supervisor will oversee all evening production operations and foster an environment of teamwork that results in achieving our key performance indicators while delivering a high-quality product that exceeds customer expectations.
This is a high paced work environment that requires a sharp sense of your surroundings. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. Portions of the role will be outside in all kinds of weather conditions.
Candidate should have experience with warehouse production, as well as supervisory experience. This is a 2rd shift, Monday through Thursday position with primary hours of 3 pm to 1:30 am.
· 3+ years in supervisory role in manufacturing experience
· Demonstrated familiarity with OSHA / Fire regulations
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
· Demonstrated familiarity with operation and maintenance of heavy equipment
· Able to work in a team environment
Desired Background and Skills
· Experience in mulch manufacturing and bagging
· Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets etc.)
