General Duties:

The Program Manager has overall responsibility for accomplishment of a successful project. They ensure the project meets the requirements of the customer and business as defined in the Statement of Work.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Responsibility for delivery of the program to cost and schedule

+ Responsible for the forecasting of cost and schedule

+ Generation of the Project Management Plan (PMP) highlighting the Scope, CDRLs and reporting plan, Risks and mitigation plan, cash-flow plan, and high-level milestones

+ Generation of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) ensuring activities are fully sequenced and resource loaded.

+ Lead weekly project team meetings to review major issues, interface items, schedule, and costs.

+ Update activity work to completion as required. Any increase in the project forecast cost at completion must be documented with reasons. The initial as planned budget and baseline schedule should only change based on scope increase or decrease.

+ Once a week provides update summary including, Project Summary Report and narrative highlighting deviation in budget, changes in forecast costs at completion, including variance from previous month, deviation to schedule and milestone payments, deviance from cash flow profile and Customer satisfaction/concerns.

+ Provide weekly (or as contractually required) report to Contracting officer to support customer reporting requirements.

+ Directs efforts of cross-competency teams at multiple departments

+ Manages cost and schedule. Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans. Takes proactive steps to minimize days in delivery

+ Identifies program and project risk areas, develops, and implements mitigation strategies, and monitors progress

+ Manages financial and administrative aspects of the program/projects

+ Formulates and enforces work standards

+ Directs Programs project team personnel

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

+ BS, BA, or MS in a technical field (preferably acoustics, aerospace/aviation, physics, math, engineering, or other technical fields)

+ 5+ years' direct experience managing $5+ million programs and/or projects for Federal Government customers; Aviation parts, Aircraft repair

+ 5+ years of business development experience

+ Proven supervisory and leadership skills

+ Strong interpersonal and client service skills

+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

+ Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills

+ Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

+ Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

+ Ability to work with all levels of management

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
