Who We're Seeking
The Manager of Dining Operations is responsible for supporting the food program for Noble's 18 campuses and 12,000 students. In this position, the Manager partners with the Director of Dining Services and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the successful delivery of over two million nutritious, filling, high quality, and visually appealing meals each year including 500,000 breakfasts, 1.5 million lunches, and thousands of suppers. The manager is also responsible for catering requests, vending operations, and support of the food program for Noble Day Care.

In partnership with the Director, the Manager is tasked with executing the strategic vision to achieve this goal.
The Manager will do this primarily by providing best-in-class support of the day-to-day food service operations at our campuses. Additionally, the Manager will collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to increase participation and further improve the dining experience for our students. Finally, this person will also ensure that our kitchens and dining rooms are clean, well-organized, and set up to effectively support the delivery of great food to our students every single day.Roles and Responsibilities
The Manager of Dining Operations reports to the Director of Dining Services and will be expected to:
- Take the actions necessary to ensure the timely delivery of outstanding meals every day to our 12,000 students.
- Audit all meal programs during the course of the year based on state and internal policy.
- Provide excellent customer service to all staff and students.
- Work closely with Chartwells and Aramark, our two food service providers, to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of food to our students every single day.
- Routinely inspect our dining and kitchen facilities to ensure they are clean, well-organized, and outfitted in a way that supports the aspirational goals of the program.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to increase participation and further improve the dining experience for our students.
- Support our state, local, and internal audits.
- Coordinate and supervise all catering requests with campuses and food management company, some weekends and nights might be required.
- Serve as Noble's liaison with the vending company and help troubleshoot any campus concerns.
- Support with entering, reconciling and auditing the monthly meal claim.
- Identify and support existing grant opportunities and data collection to improve the dining experience.

- A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred but not mandatory
- Experience and proven success with supporting large and complex operations is mandatory
- Proven and relevant experience with supporting a large food service program is preferred
- School operations experience is highly preferred but not mandatory
- A background in food services is highly preferred but not mandatory
- A minimum of three years of professional experience is mandatory
- Experience working with state and federal meal programs are mandatory
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory
- Deep experience with the Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is mandatory
- Comfort with data analysis to develop data-driven decisions is mandatory
