Full – time Clinician who coordinates the referral and intake process for the outpatient psychiatric services program; acts as a resource to families, outside agencies and staff. Provide assessments of incoming patient’s mental health/psychiatric condition. Interface with attending psychiatrist who will formulate level of care recommendation and immediate patient disposition. Enters and maintains referral/intake information using a database; processes referrals including preparing intake and initial assessment packets; contacts parents/family of referred patients and provides information regarding the program and the intake/assessment process; documents family concerns, priorities and resources available; conducts informational presentations to community based organizations and outside agencies regarding the referral/intake process; attends staff meetings; assists in planning parent support activities; provides program support for team/staff as needed; maintains cooperative working relationships with staff, families and agency personnel.
Full -time Clinician who provides community based therapeutic services to children, adults and their families with behavioral health diagnoses at a public behavioral health outpatient center located in Jefferson county area. The clinician reviews and revises initial assessments of consumers presenting for mental health and substance abuse treatment services. Monitors consumer’s progress and compliance with treatment. Develops and writes treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner, and bills for services in a timely manner according to agency standards.
Full -time Clinician who administers a battery of selected psychological and/or neuropsychological tests to a specified subject population in accordance with clearly defined procedures, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Assists in test scoring and in the collection, recording and collecting of various test data for clinical and/or research purposes.
