NikSoft is seeking a confident, resourceful and self-initiating leader with the ability to drive Federal Civilian accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to bring his/her unique set of skills and relationships to a dynamic and growing company.

  • The candidate will be responsible for identifying capture strategies and coordinating the efforts of multiple account managers.
  • He/she will have a unique ability to build relationships and develop networks, along with highly developed account management skills.
  • He/she will be expected to manage clients independently, make important decisions about sales approach and network development while also leveraging the strengths of the NikSoft team.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating industry partnerships related to these efforts.
  • Specific responsibilities include identification, qualification, and capture of Federal Civilian programs, working closely with the Chief Administrative Officer on capture status, and management of account and capture resources.

  • Additional responsibilities include support of associated proposal efforts.

  • This position requires ten years of business development experience in pursuit of Federal Civilian IT services solicitations valued at $50M or greater.

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of BD experience
  • Strong experience with DHS contracts required
  • Technical program and/or prior IT/COTS experience
  • Demonstrated success record of executing customer call plans
  • Effective fostering of industry partnerships
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized and creative
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process, with particular experience using GovWin.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty.
  • Interest in working as part of a small company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environment.
  • Work towards sales and revenue goals as established in partnership with the CEO
