Facilitates timely and accurate shipment of product to customers. Also responsible for receipt of goods and products for warehousing or delivery to other departments within the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
? Ships Products
o Pulls/Audit material issues related to customer sales orders and/or Capital Equipment orders
o Ships product out in accordance with sales order requests, ensuring shipments are complete and correct
o Identifies, tracks and resolves inventory and shipping errors, problems or delays
? Receives Products
o Processes materials received; checks, verifies and tags materials
o Checks receipts for proper quantities and item numbers. Rejects damaged goods and refers problems accordingly
o Enters receiving information into the computer and forwards necessary information to area personnel
? Inventory and Product Returns
o Conduct Cycle Count Inventories of materials and finished goods. Ensures that all goods are appropriately packaged and labeled before storage
o Restocks shelves as needed
o Process receiving activities related to warranty repair RMA’s, Customer Owned Equipment, and Mfg/Repair/Rework suppliers
o Any other duties as directed by supervisor/manager of department
? Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

High school or equivalent experience and education
? Broad knowledge and experience in warehouse practices, inventory management, and logistics functions
Minimum of 2 years experience in general warehouse Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and standards Previous experience with Federal Express and UPS
? Ability to operate computer and handcart
? Good verbal communication skills
? Neat/legible handwriting
ENVIRONMENT: Frequent work in a non-climate controlled high-pile warehouse environment
Frequent loud environment Able to lift 50 lbs
Long periods of standing, walking, repetitive bending, reaching, lifting movement, and climbing ladders
Heavy equipment in use
As a requirement for this position, you may be required to go onsite to a medical facility. At that time you must complete the vendor credentialing process at the expense of Nihon Kohden which requires lab tests providing proof of immunity to common childhood illness (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B and Varicella) as well as have a current TB certificate and Flu shot. All field based employees are expected to complete this lab work prior to visiting a medical facility.
