What We Need:

We are seeking a passionate Product Manager who will help us expand and improve our portfolio of trusted products. As Product Manager you will own your products from idea to launch, ensuring they truly solve our customers’ problems, and are positioned, marketed, sold, and supported in an effective way. The product management team builds bridges between our customers and our engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gather and interpret feedback from existing customers, focusing on product shortcomings and enhancement opportunities.
  • Research potential new markets, developing an in-depth understanding of user personas, use cases, jobs-to-be-performed, competitive landscape and addressable market.
  • Develop product line roadmaps that include pricing distribution.
  • Develop concepts for new products that address specific market needs and satisfy financial goals.
  • Prepare proposals for new products, including product descriptions, critical features, sales potential, cannibalization, pricing and profitability models, market risks and technical risks.
  • Prepare detailed product definitions including well-defined use cases, physical characteristics, technical specifications, user interface details, and app and cloud support definitions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, with direct ownership over product definitions, SKU plans, packaging, pricing models, sales/marketing content, and beta testing.
  • Work with project managers to prepare schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for new product development projects.
  • Coordinate beta testing and validate sufficiency; provide testing feedback to the engineering / development team.
  • Track product development and launch performance; use data analytics to prepare reports for the team and management.
  • Achieve project objectives within established budgets and schedules.
  • As needed, support sales and marketing at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings; up to 20% travel including overnight and international travel may be required.

Personal Qualities for Success:

  • Passion for continuous learning.
  • Enthusiastic desire to learn new things, take the initiative, be self-motivated, ask questions, research independently, and retain new information. With our diverse, niche markets, empathy and curiosity about new professions and activities is critical.
  • Able to work well with people from different disciplines with varying technical experience.
  • Possess excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work independently with limited management oversight – and know when to stop and ask questions.
  • Possess strong internal sense of urgency and desire to meet deadlines and budgets

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Bonus Opportunity
  • Full Benefits Package
  • 401K
  • Flexible Schedule
