Nicholas Financial is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Recruiter to play a key role in shaping the organization's future by identifying, attracting and sourcing top talent to the team. This is a great opportunity for self-starters - someone who loves a challenge, likes working in fast-paced environments and is results-oriented. You will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting among other responsibilities. 

What You'll Do:

The Recruiter will help initiate the hiring process by identifying and screening qualified candidates for employment opportunities. You will also be involved with posting job openings to generate applications, scheduling candidates for interviews with hiring managers, presenting job offers and coordinating start dates for new hires.

Essential Job Functions :

  • High-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict deadlines and aggressive hiring goals
  • Build and recruit a full candidate pipeline for all positions across the Company and nurture qualified applicants should an opening become available
  • Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for all open roles; taking candidates from job application to job offer to ensure they are ready for their first day of work
  • Schedules Support recruitment efforts using NFI’s various technologies (Applicant Tracking System (ATS), On-boarding, ADP, etc.)
  • Evaluate applicants’ industry knowledge, specific job skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude
  • Coordinates telephone, video, and in-person interviews between candidate and hiring manager utilizing Microsoft Outlook and our ATS
  • Recruiting for all position levels and functions in the organization, through traditional sources as well as managing the social media presence
  • Develops creative approaches to the recruitment process to increase high-caliber candidate sourcing including referral generation, Internet sourcing, ad placement, direct sourcing/cold calling, and networking
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, post open positions, review resumes, conduct phone or video interviews, and schedule in-person interviews throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain current with industry trends, source and attract applicants by using social media platforms, websites, college recruiting, and attend career fairs and networking groups when applicable
  • May travel to NFI locations for recruiting and/or training purposes
  • Performs other related job duties/special projects as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Associate degree or other relative education or career experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of general recruiting and sourcing experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of auto lending industry recruiting experience a plus, not required.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work with managers nationwide, in various time zones and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
