Job Description
Salary: $85,000 - $125,000

Nexus Talent Connect, is actively seeking a small animal or mixed animal Veterinarian. 


This is a Once-in-a-Career Opportunity to live in a stunning part of the country with an ownership or lease opportunity available. This established practice is situated in north-central Montana, close to the Bear Paw Mountains, Missouri Breaks, Milk River Valley, and numerous parks offering recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and camping. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent a variety of animal diseases and illnesses
  • Conduct tests and observations to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Prescribe necessary medications
  • Administer vaccines for the prevention of common diseases
  • Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering, and provide therapy for animal injuries
  • Engage with animal owners, answering questions, and providing education on situations and treatment plans
  • Conduct field visits to inspect and treat livestock and their living conditions (as needed)
  • Contribute to research and development initiatives to advance veterinary medicine
  • Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other staff to deliver excellent care to customers


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinic or animal hospital setting
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Demonstrated passion for animals and a keen interest in their health and well-being
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices, with a commitment to advancing the field
  • Strong verbal communication skills to establish rapport and effectively communicate with both patients and staff
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a willingness to address unique challenges
  • High emotional intelligence, enabling empathy in interactions with families
  • Time management skills, ability to prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Possession of a veterinary license with a commitment to meet ongoing licensing requirements
