Nextern is hiring for the role of Senior Global Accounts Manager. This roles comes with competitive pay and a full benefits package (details below) The Senior Global Accounts Manager focuses the delivery of exceptional service to commercialized strategic clients. These accounts can be direct customers or distributors and are often linked across multiple sites, tiered transactional relationships and global locations.
The Senior Global Account Manager is responsible for coordinating Nextern’s response and communications regarding customer orders, service requests, market conditions, and disruptions and opportunities. This position will need to exhibit product and market knowledge, and works closely with a variety of operations and design departments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Product line daily responsibilities: o Responsible for managing delivery expectation and available-to-promise processes to provide specific customers with the most accurate dates throughout the sales order cycle. o Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Sales and the rest of Customer Service team to proactively request production jobs, re-prioritize customer orders to meet service level of clients. o Produce and review Open Order report and present to customer weekly. · Liaison with the following teams: o Customer Liaison: Handle client escalations, quality issues alignment and management of all orders. o Manufacturing Sites: Work with site GMs and Supply Chain managers to determine client capacity and forward-looking opportunities. o Quality: Review Client RMA quality issues and determine next steps with customers, production, and quality teams. Translate issues into a delivery date that can be provided to a customer. o Sales Teams: Obtain client forecasts.
Communicate any quality / customer impacting issues to team. o Planning/Supply Chain: Request production jobs and expedites. Review BOM for any issues that need to be escalated. · Other responsibilities: o Communicate to customers, sales, and internal co-workers in a responsive, professional, and empathetic manner. o Make consistent decisions utilizing process and policy guidelines o Make customer concessions when needed for customer satisfaction. o Work closely with Business Unit Managers, Sales team, IT to ensure customer satisfaction o Recognize gaps in process / policy at department and company level. o Develop department and cross-functional processes for enhanced customer experiences. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: · This role will directly manage a global team with direct reports sometimes residing in other countries. · Set goals and conduct performance reviews for direct reports. · Input to extended team member performance reviews. · Input to Operations budgets and manage department expenses.
