Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Account Executive who can develop new business and also create larger revenue and partnership opportunities within our existing clients.

While we specialize in finance and accounting positions, our clients are high growth, pre IPO companies, and publicly traded companies in the SAAS, big data, internet, life sciences, and CPG industries.

Our firm is focused on identifying and winning specific new business opportunities to generate profitable revenue growth by leveraging our brand (98% of our searches and projects are with repeat clients and referrals.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted relationship and account development strategy
  • Maintain client ownership, acting as the “face to the client,” throughout and following the delivery process
  • Partner with our search team to present a unified and comprehensive solution for our clients
  • Negotiate pricing for all projects and agreements with new clients
  • Regularly and methodically initiate sales calls to secure face to face meetings with potential and existing clients
  • Build and foster new relationships and referrals through extensive networking
  • Meet with senior finance leadership within clients to qualify and scope our partnership opportunity
  • Understand client organizations and business issues and match them to service capabilities
  • Control the sales process through effective targeting of buyers and influencers
  • Overcome objections and obstacles to win the business

Qualifications

  • Sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Recruiting, Staffing, and/or Executive Search experience is a plus
  • Inside sales and/or outside sales experience preferred
  • Background or interest in Finance and Accounting is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility & ability to overcome rejection
  • High energy to keep up in a fast-paced, lively & encouraging atmosphere
  • Ethical, honest, punctual
  • Computer savvy and proficient in sourcing online and in LinkedIn
  • Professional attire when meeting with clients face to face

Compensation

Base salary DOE plus commission
