Digital Sales Coordinator

WGN Radio is looking for a rising star to join our team in the role of Digital Sales Coordinator. This position is an integral part of the integrated sales effort. The position will require performance to measurable activity while executing in the following 3 areas:

  1. Traffic: Responsible for traffic operations and management for all digital products
  2. Creative: Responsible for managing creative requests, proofs and trafficking
  3. Reciprocal Support: For Digital Sales Manager & Account Executives

+ Input orders for WGN digital products, manage and alert AE’s of issues

+ Provide analysis and reporting on ROI and revenue, utilizing various databases and analytics tools

+ Coordinate creative for digital campaigns, through clients and Account Executives

+ Assist DSM and AEs in research and preparation of client proposals

+ See through to the completion of all digital traffic orders w/ Account Executives

+ Pull screen-grabs of creative campaigns on WGN Radio digital properties, as requested

+ Send out creative proofs to Account Executives for client’s review and coordinate creative with orders

+ Provide status report to AE’s of progress of campaigns

+ Create alerts for AE’s at start of campaigns for creative as well as general awareness

+ Provide written recap at the conclusion of campaign for AE’s

+ Cross reference revenue reports with orders placed to make sure all revenue is clearing

+ Cross-functional communication with various internal departments and vendors for campaign changes, maintenance, execution, and reporting

+ Create & maintain inventory tracker to show what products are available for sale

+ Develop & maintain strong product knowledge of Tribune Digital products

+ Complete various annual projects, including reports, pitches, and others

+ Work with WGN research to make sure their site is updated with latest WGN Digital collateral

+ Must possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills

+ Must be organized and detail oriented

+ Strong computer skills, including Power Point, Excel, Word, Google Analytics, Dart DFP, Wide Orbit, and other dashboards

+ College degree preferred

+ Graphic design knowledge and experience a plus

+ Strong understanding of social media landscape

+ Positive attitude and can-do mentality

+ Desire to learn digital and radio industries and help drive revenue
