The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the launch and live game service of Nexon America games. This includes executing the vision of the lead Producer and collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams including internal and external developers, Marketing, Operations, QA, Platform, Customer Service, Community, and Localization teams to ensure smooth development and publishing of high quality online games.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.     

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:                               

  • Work with the Producer to collaborate on the direction and strategy of the game, assist the Producer in fostering a healthy developer/publisher relationship and maintaining alignment on goals and deliverables
  • Assist the Producer with execution of day-to-day efforts of the production team of one or more games
  • Maintain production and development schedules and roadmaps along with additional project documentation
  • Work with the Producer to deliver high quality games on time and on budget including feature prioritization, risk and schedule management, content and asset reviews and approvals
  • Assist the Producer with communicating game requirements, scope, schedule, and operations status to the developers and internal teams
  • Work with the Producer to confirm that milestones are met and identify and communicate project risks to the Producer and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication and information and asset sharing between internal and external partners regarding all aspects of live game operations
  • Other duties as requested by the Producer, such as competitive research, playtests, and more

Work Experience

  • 1 - 2 year(s) of work experience
  • Gaming industry experience required
  • Live games experience preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with game production, localization and or certification is a plus


  • Production experience on high quality games
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional/cross-organizational teams
  • Strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional project management, time management and problem solving skills
  • Strong experience providing qualitative and productive game design feedback
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to discern actionable and meaningful insights from data analysis
  • Experience with and strong understanding of online games environment, including live games and online game player behavior
  • Strong understanding of online multi-platform games
  • Strong understanding of the game industry including emerging trends, with a focus on the markets served by Nexon
  • High-level understanding of online environments and processes required to maintain high uptime
  • Proficient with project management software such as JIRA, Slack, Teams, Sharepoint, Confluence
  • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
