NEXGEN Asset Management is looking for a seasoned Project Manager with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and/or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) implementation experience. The CMMS/EAM Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of NEXGENs asset management software and related products across various industries with a primary focus in Municipalities, Utilities and Facilities. Previous CMMS/EAM implementation experience is required.
Our ideal candidate is a motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organized individual with a strong technical aptitude and CMMS/EAM implementation experience. The CMMS/EAM Project Manager will be part of the Project Delivery Team at NEXGEN and will report directly to the President.
This position is full time and has the option to be remote from the US or based in our Sacramento, CA office.
CMMS/EAM Project Manager Responsibilities:
Work directly with clients to implement NEXGEN Asset Management softwareManage projects within scope, schedule, and budget
Maintain project plans, communication with clients, and ensure project deadlines are kept on schedule
Review clients existing databases and determine the relevant data to be migrated in NEXGEN Asset Managements software
Work closely and coordinate with NEXGENs Technology Team to ensure client requirements and expectations are met
Configure the NEXGEN application to meet client workflow requirements
Test and validate final system setup prior to product handoff to client
Provide end-user training and support during implementation and Go-Live process and perform proper project handoff to NEXGENs Client Success teamMust be able and willing to travel. Possible travel requirements, up to 20%
CMMS/EAM Project Manager Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or other related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the specific job level. A strong technical background is required to manage technical projects and handle competing interests.
5-7 years experience in Project Management, Technology Consulting, Facility Management, Maintenance Management in CMMS or asset management systemStrong communication and written skills necessary to effectively engage with clients and set proper expectationsAbility to lead a project teamAbility to understand complex business needs and translate into a comprehensive set of user requirements and business processesAbility to identify issues that may impact client project success; must escalate appropriately and/or workaround the issueTechnical and analytical skills are importantActive interest in understanding the asset management or computer maintenance management system
General Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time managementAbility to balance, coordinate and prioritize concurrent projects with unique timelinesProficient understanding of project management processes and methodsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to promptly respond to clients
Technical Skills:
Knowledge in Relational databases with ability to understand Tables, SQL queries, Views, Stored proceduresStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, functions in Excel, MacrosOther Office MS products like MS Project, Access and VisioAbility to map business processes using some tool
Salary range of $75,000 - $100,000/year based on experience.
