Sales Analyst

This role is responsible for supporting assigned customers, categories, and brands through data analysis. The candidate requires extensive analytic skills and will interact with many groups across the New Nexus organization. The candidate will provide strategic and tactical support through data analysis, evaluating key performance metrics, and assessing the results in weekly customer reporting. Our desired candidate must be comfortable participating in key meetings to communicate findings and deliver results.
General Job Description and Duties:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and members of other departments.
- Deliver weekly reporting for clients and Walmart teams that provide actionable analytics and highlights steps being taken to improve the business.
- Supports Account Managers and team with in-depth data analysis of current client businesses.
- Measures performance and impact of sales and replenishment initiatives. Communicates results effectively across the business.
- Analyze sales performance and provide recommendations to drive sales.
- Utilize Retail Link to provide adhoc analytical support to drive key programs.
Qualifications/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business related field.
- 2-4 years of sales/channel experience demonstrating steadily increasing responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Retail Link, Microsoft Office, and syndicated (MADRID, IRI & Nielsen) or like systems.
- Excellent data manipulation/analytical skills and acute attention to details.
- Skilled at problem solving and idea leadership.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results.
- Ability to network within the supplier community.
