New Life Counseling, a private practice counseling agency in Dover, OH is seeking to add a licensed or license-eligible psychologist to carry a caseload of clients ranging from adults to children for individual, family, and/or couples' therapy (depending on your specialty) to our growing practice. Psychological assessment opportunities also abound for ADHD, Autism, and Learning Disability testing, as well as other testing referrals. The clinician would have the opportunity to have a core of assessment and testing with a caseload of clinical appointments to quickly develop a part-time or full-time caseload.
For those psychologists that are license eligible, clinical supervision toward licensure is available if needed. Our ideal candidate is a Psychologist who already has a current license to practice in the state of Ohio; however, post-doctoral candidates who are license-eligible are encouraged to apply as well. The clinician should have experience with CBT and DBT, testing and assessment, treatment of adults, adolescents and children, marital, and family therapy preferred.
New Life also offers faith-based counseling, therefore, candidates who have experience or would be open to providing this manner of counseling would be encouraged to apply. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose and treat the full spectrum of psychological conditions Supervise mental health personnel as needed Provide evaluations for adults, adolescents, and children.
Administer psychological testing for a variety of referrals and issues Participate in case reviews Dedicated to providing very high-quality therapeutic services The ideal candidate would be currently credentialed with health insurance panels in Ohio, but this is not necessary for hire as credentialing services are available.
