Travel within the tri-county vicinage will be required.

Under the direction of the Court Executive 2b (Assistant Trial Court Administrator/Operations Division Manager) or other supervisory personnel, Vicinage XV Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties is seeking a professional who is a highly motivated self-starter who possesses excellent interpersonal, administrative, organizational, written and verbal communication skills, is attentive to detail, customer service oriented and able to multitask. The selected candidate will be the point person in the vicinage's Law Library and Resource Center (LLRC), Court Administration office, and front entrance for inquiries from court users; will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting both external and internal customers; explain basic Judiciary policies and procedures to court users; identify appropriate procedures for handling varied levels of inquiries received; inform court users of available agency support programs or services, which may include communicating with county and state agencies in order to assist litigants in obtaining appropriate and relevant referrals; maintain and procure the vicinage's legal materials; participate in local and/or statewide meetings; monitor and collect customer service surveys for the vicinage; identify and display appropriate signage throughout the vicinage; engage in community outreach and cover court events; review court activities for compliance with procedures, laws, court rules, or administrative directives; provide cross-training to co-workers; assist in the development of forms, newsletters, flyers, brochures, booklets, and other documents for publication; perform related work as required.
Knowledge of Lexis Nexis, New Jersey Practice Series, New Jersey Court Rules, Statutes, and New Jersey Administrative Code is helpful.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Residency Law: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), also known as the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.
Terms and conditions of employment will be governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
*Minimum Salary Note: For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
*Maximum Salary Note: Maximum Salary A is for Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014 and Maximum Salary B is for newly hired individuals or Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014.
