Job Description

Administrative Assistant


Pay Range: $12.00HR./ - $14.00HR./

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Location: Cairo, GA

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work for a grocery distribution company. To be successful in this role, you should be professional, polite, and attentive while being accurate.


Responsibilities

  1. Answering phone calls and transferring them to the correct department
  2. Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase orders
  3. Assist Sales team with documentation and verification of products
  4. Web and print support to buyers and retailers on weekly product prices and movements, bookings and advertisements. Configure weekly ads and website postings
  5. Schedule all inbound vendor deliveries
  6. Other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Previous administrative assistant experience preferred

Requirements

  1. Ability to lift 15lbs
  2. Must be reliable and trustworthy dealing with sensitive confidential material
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  5. Ability to maintain and organize confidential records
