marketing/trade investment activities to accomplish company goals. Prior food manufacturing sales experience is a must, food service specifically a huge plus. Looking for someone with a strong operational background able to detail company manufacturing capabilities to increase capacity among existing accounts. Strong analytical, project management skills. Will be managing a sales team and sales budget. Non-commissioned role.
▌1 – Member of the CEO’s senior management team, providing required counsel, insights, and
perspective regarding the company’s customer base. Participate in key strategic and tactical decisions affecting the overall company. Formulate the vision, strategic pillars, and tactical execution plan for the Sales Organization.
▌2 – Implement sales strategies, and drive tactical execution to deliver results on key sales
initiatives in the areas of distribution, pricing, promotions etc. Deliver annual revenue within budgeted spend level. Work with the Chief Operating Officer to drive accurate volume forecasting. Work closely with the Chief Procurement Officer to ensure commodity costs and customer pricing strategies are in alignment. Optimize customer profit margins via pricing, product mix, and product reformulations.
▌3 – Provide leadership in the development and delivery of account specific growth plans across
North America. Conducting capabilities presentations, obtaining live projects, working with culinary and procurement to bring the projects to fruition. Ability to fully penetrate a customer both horizontally and vertically is imperative.
▌4 - Own the customer relationship and develop key relationships with senior management.
Proactively identify and react to changes within the competitive landscape.
