Job Description

The Organization

The New California Coalition is a 501(c)(4) organization driven by everyday voters. The nonpartisan civic movement aims to improve livability, affordability, and sustainability by uniting middle-of-the-road Californians, business leaders, and community groups from up and down the state. We speak for California's voiceless middle – the somewhere-between-far-left-and-far-right voters whose concerns have been drowned out by sensational non-issues that have no resonance with their daily lives. More than 6 million of these Californians don't have any say or sway in our polarized political landscape. We're working to organize and mobilize 1 million voters featuring 100,000 small business owners under the NCC umbrella. With that kind of strength in numbers, legislators won't be able to ignore our calls for common-sense solutions to California's most pressing issues: housing costs, homelessness, public safety, drought, and wildfires, to name just a few. Remember the "California dream"? We're determined to restore the Golden State's promise of opportunity for all who are willing to aspire, work hard and play by sensible rules. We also run ongoing intensive research and issue analytics through our 501(c)(3) to inform our work. And we utilize separate Political Action Committees for candidate support.
