Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse For Prenatal Care Company to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and enrolls women in prenatal care coordination program
  • Preparation for child birth 
  • Obtains initial medical and obstetric history, provides pregnancy related education for prenatal patients
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals 
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members as needed
  • Ensures pregnant women are obtaining prenatal care and consistently, making prenatal appointments

  • Submits Required PNCC client statistics for reporting purposes

  • Assists with referrals to WIC, healthy families, Hoosier health-wise enrollment, etc

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with valid license in the State of Wisconsin

  • Experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse

  • Strong Demonstrated organizational skills, with attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to effectively work as a team member

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clinical staff, patients, management, etc

  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times

  • 2+ years Experience working with pregnant and new moms 

  • MUST have 2+ years experience working with low-income/disadvantaged women and children

  • We are looking to hire a PNCC RN with 2+ years of experience working with pregnant moms and moms with newborns

  • Nursing: 2 years (Required)

  • RN (Required)

  • Have the expertise, through education or at least two years of work experience, to provide health education 

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
