Neuropsychiatric Hospitals is looking for a seasoned Director of Nursing -
- The right candidate must have experience in either a not for or for profit Behavioral Health Hospital, previously managed a large Behavioral/Psychiatric Nursing Department within an Acute Care setting, or Acute Care Facility.
- The right candidate will be accountable for the overall clinical management and clinical operations of the hospital.
- The DON is given broad guidance and direction and is expected to function with initiative and independent judgment.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing and Master's Degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing, or its equivalent, from a school of nursing, accredited by the National League for Nursing.
Experience: Three years of clinical and/or managerial experience in acute care and/or psychiatric setting is also preferred. Must have two years of direct experience with managing payroll.
