Associate Pediatric Nutrition Sales Rep (Columbia West- South Carolina)

The foundational responsibilities and purpose for the Associate Pediatric Nutrition Sales Rep is to generate demand through healthcare professional recommendations for assigned products in the in the Gerber Product Portfolio within designated customer touch points, to grow customer sales. Results in territory are measured by coupon redemptions, territory planning (reach and frequency), and other business related activities within their objectives.

Thisis a developmental role with ideal candidate willing to accept largerresponsibilities in the future .

Key Outputs:

Generate demand through HCP recommendations in the pediatrician office, utilizing appropriate classification, targeting, and cycle planning.

Maintain relevance in the hospital through routine touchpoints to protect and preserve current business, as well as identify and act upon opportunities for incremental business

Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Triage Nurses, Triage Nurses, Lactation Consultant, Dietitian, Office Staff (i.e. Practice Manager, Pediatric GI, Pediatric Allergist, Practice Managers
Hospital:
Hospital Administration/C-Suite Level (CNO, Director MCH)
Hospital Nurse Leadership/Management (L&D, Nursery, NICU, etc.)
Hospital Nurse Educators (L&D, Nursery, NICU, etc.)
Chief of Pediatrics, Chief of Obstetrics, Chief of Neonatology
Medical Director
Pediatric Hospitalists
Lactation Consultants
Materials Management Decision Makers (Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, etc.)
Store Room Manager
Local Professional Organizations (AAP, AWHONN NAPNAP, AAAAI, AHRMM)
Key Experiences:
Science or business related 4 year college degree
Experience discussing issue with decision makers during a sale &/or physicians, dietitian, nurses, and other clinical professionals
Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales function and/or working in a hospital institution
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to deliver results
