Franchise Agreement Assistant

Position Overview:

The Franchise Agreement Administrative Assistant will perform clerical and administrative duties to support the Franchise Agreement Manager, Franchise Developers, and Vice Presidents of Franchise Development. This position supports Franchise Developers as they prepare for new franchise sales and adding territory for existing franchisees. This includes, but is not limited to, gathering necessary documentation for transaction, researching territory, communicating directly with Franchise Developers and Team Leads, working closely with the legal department on preparation of agreements, printing and preparing agreements for mailing, and processing agreements and payments once they are returned from the prospect or franchisee.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Demographics of territories
  • Preparing setup forms and gathering needed documentation
  • Sending completed setups to legal and brand presidents for approval
  • Sending prepared agreements to prospects/franchisees electronically
  • Reviewing agreements sent electronically for accuracy
  • Processing agreements and payments received back in office
  • Successfully communicate and work with brand presidents, officers, external contacts, and internal departments to perform responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal information.
  • Interface with others in a professional manner and be a trusted go to person.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Attributes:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.
  • High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Ability to multi-task, ask questions, interact with future franchisees from time-to-time
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Sense of humor.

Education & Experience:

Education: High School Education or Equivalent, some college preferred

Experience: Administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
