X-ray Technician Medical Assistant Full and Part Time Pay Range Commensurate with experience Job Description Neighborhood Urgent Care is looking for highly trained and experienced caregivers to passionately care for patients. A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties, including but not limited to: X-Ray Triage Patients Take vital signs. Document patient data including medical history. Administer injections as directed. Become certified in administering all lab tests and documenting lab standards. Drawing blood samples. Perform all diagnostic x-rays. Report to Center Administrator / Physician on Duty. Assist in care of patients. Collect urine samples. Execute DOT and non-DOT Drug Screens. Execute spirometer tests. Execute BAT tests. Execute any additional lab tests that may be required (CBC, strep tests, flu tests, etc.). Maintain lab controls. Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 months post-graduate experience working as a licensed X-ray Technologist. Basic understanding of digital X-ray services. Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA. Professional appearance at all times. Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills. Team player. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Adaptable in different situations. Able to multi-task and work independently. Must be flexible with hours/shifts. Must be able to work weekends and 12-hour shifts. Experience in Occupational Health including Workers Comp preferred. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: Less than 1 year
