Crew Lead Responsibilities Include:
Keep track of inventory, tools, and equipment
Responsible for day-to-day work of the crew, work truck, and trailer
Receive instructions from Project Manager, prioritize tasks, and delegate specific tasks to crew members to complete project
Communicate start times, schedules and work locations to other members of the crew and oversee that labor is accurately reported through timekeeping software (correct clock-in and out punches, customer code, and service code)
Meet with homeowner/business owner upon arrival/departure each day on job site; Be an onsite ambassador to the client
Instruct crew members in proper work methods and standards
Maintain a high level of quality on job site by overseeing daily clean-up of job site and performing regular quality checks on tasks completed by other crew members; maintain an orderly job site
Partner with Project Manager to discuss and fix any issues/problems that arise while completing a project
Collaborate with Project Manager to assess the amount of materials needed for a project and the procurement of these materials
Keep all expense receipts and turn them over to Project Manager for tracking
Partner with Project Manager to discuss and address issues/concerns amongst crew members
Provide performance feedback and input into performance reviews
Additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
Five years general construction experience required to include rough carpentry, finish carpentry, demolition, framing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ability to provide training and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required
Working knowledge of OSHA requirements including but not limited: safe lifting, PPE and hearing conservation is required.
Ability to learn quickly and take initiative with limited direction, as well as effectively supervise and lead crew members
Advanced skill in the operation of equipment, tools, and instruments used for assigned work areas
Consistent positive attitude in a constantly changing environment
Strong organizational skills including ability to multi-task effectively
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
General understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professional appearance and behavior at all times
Must pass a criminal history background investigation; however a conviction of a crime may not disqualify an individual from this position
Valid Georgia Drivers License with insurable driving record to regularly (daily with few exceptions) operate an agency vehicle
Work Environment and Conditions
In the performance of the job duties, the employee will work in a variety of environments including construction sites and natural resource areas.
This position will primarily work outside in all types of weather conditions and environments including but not limited to possible high, precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
The noise level in the environment is quiet to loud.
