Provide support and help strengthen the company’s Business systems, functionality and processes in a manufacturing environment.
Locate and define new process opportunities to improve the value within business units.
Collaborate with functional areas to prioritize business needs, resolve challenges and promote teamwork.
Assist with troubleshooting system related issues as a team and individually.
Ability to learn ERP systems core manufacturing modules and settings.
Use custom reporting tools and utilities to provide ad-hoc reports or dashboards.
Use custom screen building methodologies to enhance business systems.
Develop, customize and configure key business areas based on specifications from user discussions.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to help maintain data systems.
Interpret data sets and analyze results based on business requirements.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Understand and evaluate the impact of business rule changes.
Capture, analyze, provide feedback and document business systems requirements.
Assist the communications and delivery of key objectives.
Previous work experience as a data or business analyst is desired (min. 3 years).
Business knowledge in an automotive supplier environment a plus.
Strong communications skills, self-motivated and ability to work well with others.
Ability to learn and construct complex SQL scripts using join statements, unions, temporary tables and other advanced SQL techniques.
Technical expertise regarding database design, development and data mining.
Prior experience using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate or other similar tools.
EDI knowledge is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access, Project, etc.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at analyzing table structures & relationships, report writing and presenting findings, along with creative documentation skills.
Prior experience developing applications in a visual programming language or web- based application is desired. (i.e. Visual Basic, .net, C++, Java, HTML, Access).
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
