THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Sr Financial Analyst position offers the opportunity to work in a high paced, growth-oriented company. This role will offer a diverse number of focus areas including contract analysis, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, M&A, and strategic initiatives. Success will depend on a strong, hands-on analytical leader with excellent communication skills, a self-starter and an effective team player.
YOU WILL
- Prepare monthly budget vs actual analysis and deliver to Executive team along with relevant insight and commentary
- Assist with KPI tracking, dashboard management and related reporting to Executive team – including (but not limited to), operations productivity and other margin analysis
- Assist with all financial reporting deliverables from FP&A perspective (BOD presentations, reporting to Executive team, and equity sponsors)
- Partner with functional leaders to assist with building company’s robust financial budgeting and forecasting model
- Assist with M&A modeling, product expansion modeling, and other strategic projects and initiatives.
- Provide the business with high quality strategic financial analysis, insight & advice to deliver financial performance enhancement (variance and trend analysis and ad-hoc reporting)
- Assist the Controller and accounting team with month-end close, as needed
- Use financial systems and advanced Excel functions to work with data sets.
- Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions.
- Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improves, scales, or simplifies finance tools across teams and organizations.
THE ESSENTIALS
- Bachelor's degree required in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis experience, preferably in a corporate environment in a software industry with strong understanding of US GAAP
- Experience supporting and partnering with operations and/or functional leaders
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive material
- Strong Excel and modeling skills is required
- Strong Powerpoint skills is required
NICE TO HAVES
- MBA, Masters, or other advanced certification (CPA, etc.)
- PE or VC backed business experience or passion
- NetSuite experience
- PowerBI or other data analytics tools
- SalesForce.com experience

Compensation Information
Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance and is not guaranteed.
