The Network Specialist is responsible for day-to-day support of the network and voice infrastructure. The primary functions involve configuration and monitoring of the network switches, routers, access points, video conferencing rooms and related infrastructure. This individual is also responsible for maintaining related documentation for the network infrastructure. The Network Specialist is a member of the Communications team and will participate in an off-hours on call rotation for areas they are responsible for.

How do I make an impact on my team?
- Collaborate with colleagues to support company and departmental goals and objectives
- Take help desk calls from end users during standard hours
- Assists in the development and maintenance of network systems and hardware.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help configure and install internal and external networks such as VPN routers
- Knowledge of Cisco Fire-Power and Fortinet Firewalls
- Knowledge of Fortinet SD-Wan
- Knowledge of network monitoring, SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG
- Knowledge of internal and external routing protocols
- Knowledge of wireless technologies (Cisco and Fortinet)
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE
- Understanding of Cisco ACI fabric
- Knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching platforms
- Assist in the Administration of Enterprise Contact Center Platforms (PCCE, Genesys)
- Basic knowledge of Cisco video conferencing equipment
- Document the company’s existing systems architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives
- Assist in the development and deployment of infrastructure solutions for networking and communications
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain Video conferencing equipment
- Assist in maintenance of a systems capacity and disaster recovery plan
- On call rotation as part of the Communication Team responsible related applications and networking.

What our team expects from you?
- College diploma or 2/4-year degree in the field of Computer Science/Engineering or Information Systems. Certifications recommended but not required.
- Two (2) years’ experience in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Systems.
- Knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Cisco IOS, Linux, Microsoft and VMware.
- Proven experience in systems and network configuration, development, and implementation.
- Understand of Single Sign On (SSO)
- Solid grounding in core enterprise applications, including Microsoft Windows Server.
- Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, Active Directory, virus scanning.
- Working technical knowledge of collaboration platforms (Webex, Teams, Zoom, Etc)
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
