DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: To assist members and potential members with their credit union needs; explain services, respond to problems and direct members to appropriate personnel; assist members with N Touch Web/Audio Home Banking, reply to PSCU/CUScripter escalated emails in a timely manner; duties also include cross-selling, perform basic teller transactions, accurate record keeping and serving as a liaison between members and NCU personnel; perform other duties as assigned. Must be a problem solver and direct members to appropriate personnel, must have knowledge of Navigator Credit Union products and services, must protect member’s privacy and work every other Saturday or as needed.
EXPERIENCE: Six months to two years of similar or related experience recommended.
EDUCATION: Equivalent to a high school education.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: To provide accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to every person calling Navigator Credit Union; to answer telephone calls within three rings and handle 2000+ calls per month; to be able to operate general office machines, including personal computers and calculators. Must be able to communicate well with others, be dependable and prompt, and must be a problem solver.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess courtesy, tact and diplomacy skills while working one-on-one with callers when giving information that may require assistance and discussion. Must possess a sales attitude to be able to effectively cross-sell to members.
